The Handball lions of Cameroon are undergoing intensive training ahead of the 24th edition of men’s Africa Handball Championship, Tunisia 2020. Got to their 3rd phase of training, the lions are leaving the country this weekend to Tunisia for the competition.
The national handball men’s Team completes its third phase of preparation for the 24th Africa Cup of men’s handball nations, Tunisia 2020 scheduled from 16 to 26 January in Hammamet in Radès.
The handball Lions will leave Cameroon this weekend for an acclimatization course in Tunisia, pending the competition.
Cameroon was drawn at random in Group C, with Tunisia, host country, defending champion and ten times defending champion of the category.
Cameroon will also share its group with Ivory Coast and Cape Verde. The winner of this CAN will be qualified for the Olympic Games, Tokyo 2020.
Six countries will also be selected for the 27th Men’s Handball *World Championship, Egypt 2021. A training session is scheduled this Friday, January 03, 2020 at the Sports Complex of the Presidential Guard from 3 p.m.
